Annual Staff, Students and Alumni of Madill High School: Your untiring efforts and co-operation exemplified in this wonderful under- taking of preparing a yearbook for this community again this school year of 1953 makes me feel very proud of being a member of this great team. We, who have very little to do regarding the actual make up of this book, do not realize, as the staff does, just how much work and time goes into a project of this type. The result of the labors of a few is appreciated by all and I know there will be real joy in the years ahead for each who is fortunate enough to have this ANNUAL in his own library. AAay I wish all of you the greatest happiness and success in the future because of your accomplishments in the past. Sincerely, A. A. JOHNSON Principal

The Annual Staff and Sponsor made a wise choice in dedicating the WILDCAT to our former graduates. I am sure this volume will bring memories to them and strengthen the ties which bind us together. The passing of time has helped to evaluate the training of our former students and we can now partially evaluate such intangibles as initiative, dependability, resourcefulness, co-operation, and attitudes developed while in school. We are sure the courage and stamina of the BLACK AND GOLD of old M.H.S. will always inspire them to higher attainments. Our best wishes will continue to follow them wherever they may go and in whatever they may do. May I extend my congratulation and appreciation to Mrs. O. E. Seely and the ANNUAL STAFF for their untiring efforts in making this volume possible. Yours very truly, Tty M. C. COLLUM, Superintendent Madill Public Schools
