Success and happiness are the two primary objectives we all wish to attain. Both are equally important for we can- not have one without the other. Knowledge is an ingredient essential to the realization of these goals. The search for knowledge must not end with graduation. Instead, that search must continue throughout life. Formal education lays the foundations and provides the impetus to continued learning. Self-discipline is another necessity in the struggle for success and happiness. Shouldering responsibilities, facing life’s problems, and having the necessary perseverance to achieve desired goals are all directly related to the ability to discipline oneself. MRS. R.
