BUTTON PUSHERS ... The button pushers are just below the scientists, both in intelligence and social status. They are curious creatures with bulging eyes and bony fingers. These qualities adapt them admirably for use not only as button pushers but pinball machines as well, They are among the most excitable .people in the universe, probably because they drink a gallon of high-grade kerosene before every meal. The juniors realize that they too are subordinates, but they also realize that they are the leaders of next year, They have already received training in han- dling key duties and are disciplining themselves in preparation for carrying out the responsibilities which will be entrusted to them.
