FIRST SEMESTER OFFICERS Row 1, L. to R.: Secretary, Ruby Jo Abercrombie; treasurer, Bobbie Jo Beasley. Row 2, L. to R.: President, Vic Pistoresi; vice- president, Kenneth Jones. SENIOR MEMOIRS At their first meeting in October, the seniors elected Mrs. Vivian Wiegand as their class adviser, reordered their class rings and sweaters, and elected their class of- ficers. The first semester officers were as follows: Presi- dent, Vic Pistoresi; vice-president, Kenneth Jones; secre- tary, Ruby Jo Abercrombie; and treasurer, Bobbie Jo Beasley. The seniors also voted on their announcements and personal cards. Later in the year the seniors discussed carnival plans and selected a committee. The carnival committee worked very hard on the construction and theme for their booth, and the night of the carnival the seniors walked off with the prize for the best decorated booth and the highest honor of all—the throne for their king and queen, Stanley Toner and Evelyn Scheid. This year’s senior class has stood out at all of the carnivals as they won the throne in both their freshman and junior years, too. At their next class meeting, Commencement and Sneak Day Committees were selected. Sneak Day was set for February 28 when some of the seniors journeyed to the coast and to Badger Pass. On February 18 officers were elected for the second semester. Those selected were: President, Bill Eva; vice- president, Dino Petrucci; secretary, May Gong; and treas- urer, Wanda Potter. The seniors’ personal cards arrived in March and their graduation announcements in May. On the nights of March 7 and 8 the seniors presented their senior play en- titled, “The Night of January 16.” This play was directed by Miss Marian Jacobson. June was the biggest and busiest month of all for the seniors. On June 6 the senior reception was given for the perents of the graduating class. The Baccalaureate Service was held on June 8, and on June 10 the long awaited Junior-Senior Prom was held in the gymnasium. As a fitting climax to the seniors final week of school, Commencement was held on the night of June 11. June 12 the seniors bid their last farewell to the old Alma Mater and set out on their own to face the world. we SECOND SEMESTER OFFICERS Row 1, L. to R.: Secretary, May Gong; treasurer, Wanda Potter.
