BUYS FEDERATION Boys’ Fed got off to a good start this year with Art Freeman as presi- dent. They had several good speakers from the various Armed Forces. Girl Scout Troop 6 put on a very good assem- bly with jitterbug- ging and boogie- woogie on the piano as the features. Parker Gibbs was elected president for the second semester. AWE ae) rdan, R. The Girls’ League Council, made up of seven girls who represent each class, meet every other week to plan the program, of the League. One of their most ambitious projects was a night Fashion Show given on April 6 in the gymnasium. The proceeds of this were all donated to the Teen Canteen for the furnishings.
