Velasquez, L. Firmalo. ish food and a floor show. The Cafe received first prize for the amount of scrip taken in and the best concession. The Pan American assembly was on April 13th. The setting was d market scene. During the fiesta several dances such as Chiapanecas, La Cucaracha, Los Vietjetos, Fado Blanquita, Conga, and the Jarahe Tapatio, were given. THESPIANS The Thespians, Hon- orary Drama Club, presented for their annual assembly “Sparkin’, ” a one-act comedy about moun- tain people. They also sponsored a booth for the carnival —a group of short skits entitled, “Black- outs of 1945.” R. Kuehne, D. Miller, J. Bunce, P. Gibbs, M. Schuerman, G. Conley, J. Sanderson, M. Jastram, R. Rigby, Miss Barker, E. Bohne, L. Firmalo, D. Saburit, B. Dallas. FORENSIC The officers of Foren- sic are: Mary Nell Gardner, president; Barbara Ridgeway, secretary, and Bev- erly Crow, treasurer. Members of the club have been on debat- ing teams and in or- atory contests, and sponsored as a club the annual Freshman Speaking Contest.
