Assistant Principal Mr. Frank Lang Assistant Principal of Madeira High School BS. in Ed., University of Cincinnati M.Ed., University of Cincinnati During the sixteen years that Mr. Lang has been at Madeira, his growing responsibilities in all areas have not increased any faster than has student re- spect for him. Certainly one can readily understand the difficulties of serving a dual position as assistant principal and counselor. Likewise, it is just as easy to see the expertness with which Mr. Lang accom- plishes his many duties. He is in charge of the Stu- dent Council, Student Testing Program, and College Admissions Service. One never leaves his office with the feeling of being only partially helped, for Mr. Lang is willing to aid at student as far as that student will place his trust in him. What more can grateful students say than HThank you, Mr. Lang? Principal Mr. Herbert Dericks Principal of Madeira High School BS. in Ed., U. of Cincinnati M.Ed., Xavier University Madeira will always be a top-ranking school with leaders like Mr. Dericks. He came to Ma- deira as a math teacher, and soon proved to be very efficient. He has not confined himself to a mere desk job, but is a frequent visitor to all parts of the campus. He represents Madeira in many important meetings, such as national conventions, area councils, and student assem- blies. The Class of 66 thanks you, Mr. Dericks, for your guidance and patience.
