Looking back through the pages of one's life is valuable oniy as it guides and moti- Votes one to improve in the future. They built well with such materials as courage, hard work, freedom of action and thought, and faith in the future. The power inherent in education was well known to them, and the opportunity to learn much pryed and sought after. Today we enjoy countless material, politicoL and spiritual advantages resuffing from their handiwork. We ourselves have contributed little, but benefit much. If we are to be worthy of such 0 heritage, we must have faith of our forefathers, and build again on their principles.

This motto seems to be much in keep- ing with the theme of your l96l Mnemonic in that it advises us as to TIME and the wise use of its Translated, the proverb reads: Tomorrow, tomorrowelet's put it off until tomorrow, say all lazy people. The old motto might give us this little lesson of TIME: Today is the day for ac- tionetodoy is the day to do things; for when this day is over, it is gone forever. , My message to the Seniors of 1961 is - :- stated practically in the words above.
