Among his hobbies are fishing and hunting, ac tivities which occupy his time whene ever he is free. His Favorite sport is baseball which he used to play proa tessionally. Mr. Voshell appreciates boil clubs that win their games. MR. RALPH WRIGHT B.S.Ed.. Ohio State University The old saying e A friend in need is a friend indeed is certainly true of Mr. Wright. our history instructor. He spends most of his extra time in wood working and watching sports events. Mr. Wright is well known for his intense dis- like of cold weather. especially when accompanied by snow because this means shoveling the walks. Among his favorite discussion topics are world events and politics. MR. JAMES ZARLEY B.S.Ed., Ohio University Driver Training' Akron Mr. Zorley with his quiet smile is a great 5cvorite oi Modeira's faculty; He is a man with steel nerves and proves this characteristic when he is teaching one of his favorite subgects - Driver Training. Mr. Zorley finds satisfaction in being outeoi-doors hunting and fishing. He also makes a good fourth at bridge. Zeke dislikes noisy. loudemouthed stu- dents and hot-rod drivers.

She finds great pleasure in reoding books. and enjoys spending evenings with her family. Mrs. Lancaster is very hoppy when students make sure their books are not overdue. MR. FRANCIS R. LANG B.S.Ed.. University of Cincinnati M.Ed.. University of Cincinnati Mr. Long finds pleasure in doing many things besides teaching commer- cial subiects ot MHS. He teaches oduit classes at Madeira and ot the UC Evening Coliege. Mr. Long has many hobbies to occupy his time. He likes to play the piano and harmonize with his wife. He also enjoys showing OH: some of the pictures and furniture he has pointed Mr. Long is our school treo- surer, and is chairman of the Assembly Committee. MR. CHARLES W. MEDERT B.S.Ed.. University of Cincinnati B.M.. College of Music of Cincinnati B.F.A.. College of Music of Cincinnati Perhaps the most tolented teacher of Madeira is our new music instructor. Mr. Medert. Among his numerous talents ore orronging music, writing music. and conducting. Mr, Medert has many hobe bies such 05 collecting records. building things, improving his home, and playing bosketboli ond boseboll. He certainly hos done a marvelous iob in improving Modeiro's bond. and he has spent mony tiring hours teaching them their music and formations. MRS. ANN RUEGER B.A., DePauw University Who would think that this young teacher loves to iish? In fact. she en? ioys anything That has to do with water. Hove you ever noticed the neat biouses she wears. That's because collecting biouses seems to be one of her favorite hobbies! She is not happy about the foot that she is supposed to wear glosses. Mrs. Rueger also teaches closses of Xavier Evening College.
