In coming to a decision, we found it necessary to compromise. There were many ideas and opinions to be considered. Out ol all our discussion emerged the lollowing Dedication: To the parents, teachers, and citizens ot this community who helped us to know the meaning oi the American principles of Democracy, do we dedicate this MNEMONIC ol l95I. We also dedicate our Annual to Mr. Lang, our ad- visor, who has always offered us encouragement in all our undertakings, and who has made us realize the value ol co-operation. To all those who have given us the chance to learn, and to those who have taught us, we express our sincere appreciation. Come with us now as we recall school life. We are all elated that we made it- after twelve years of study and hard work. All of us are grateful to our teachers. parents, and those who led. or prodded us, as the case may be. along the paths of growth and learning. And there are many never-to-be-forgotten memories which cause us to feel much regret at leaving high school. None of us knows what the future holds in store. However, because of the ex- cellent opportunities and experiences we have had during our school careers, and part- icularly duringl these past four years. we feel confident that we shall be better able to meet the problems which may arise. OUR ADVISGR I6 As our class advisor. Mr. Lang has always st-ood firmly with us in all our endeavors. We would have found it difficult to have accomplished so much without his helpful suggestions and advice. We of the Annual Staff wish to express our sin- cerest appreciation to Mr. Lang for his indispensable advice in publishing our yearbook. THE SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS as 1 l R Our Senior Class officers were a capable team. They were: Patty Hauss, Treasurer: Ann Hender- son, Vice-Presidentg Dan Henle, President: and Carol Robinson, Secretary. Dan assumed many duties not otten delegated to a class president. Despite his heavy schedule ot classes, basketball and baseball practices, he always lound time lor the atlairs ot the class. Qur Vice-President made the most ol her ottice by working on committees. Ann could always be depended upon to undertake any task with the right attitude and see it through. Patty, our Treasurer, handled the class lunds. Not satisfied simply to 'take in money, she lound time to go out and solicit ads lor the Annual. You can be sure her happy smile added to her success in selling. Though Carols duties as Secretary were lew, through the newspapers she kept the public informed about our activities. lt was she who wrote the scripts lor our two variety shows and the lyrics lor our class song.
