Foreword The annual staff is very proud to present this, the 1955 edition of THE SPECTATORH. This is a picture story of your activities around school, your classmates, and your special moments. We hope you will be able to look back through the years at this book and be able to re-live each and every precious moment. This year as many of the students of Viaud are preparing to walk out into the outside world all of the students will forever remember the things they have learned and what their school has stood for in their life. For those who have graduated before us we feel we have benefited by your experience and gained by your knowledge. For those who remain behind the way is long and rough, many will be left, but when you get discouraged, remember the good will always over-shadow the bad. Also, we shall not forget Mrs. R. M. Cutshall, our principal: Mrs. L. B. Cabiness, senior sponsor: lVIr. B. E. Chewning, Ir., sponsor of our annual: and all the others whose painstaking efforts have guided our lives - putting our wishes before their own, devoting precious time and energy to the development of our minds, and our mental attitude toward life so that we may look to the future unafraid. It is the sincerest hope of the staff that this will truly be your book of memories.
