Foreword In the 1967 BRIDGE we have tried to present a true picture of Macon County High School. Here academic excellence is emphasized; athletics is an integral part of the school program; and, supervised student activities add just the right fillip to produce what we consider to be an exceptional school. This is made possible by a competent, interested faculty and a cooperative, enthusiastic student body working together harmoniously. We hope you get the picture! aw =. —— Fait aah qe - By teen . geen Be PN ay eee. 35 ans anata , oe ee | Se ‘ sane ammntt iene 7 aS eat ae 2 Bs ny 7. ee oe Che , PF Way, 6 om gi } = oF Sem, a ee ww Wey ‘ ot Get ae = 0 me gas ' me _s wf a | ? Because of your ellorts the Student Council has become an important factor in our school. You have shown an interest in sports by helping to train our future Rebels: you have spent many nights scouting Varsity oppon- ents. More important, you have taught us everyday, preparing us for tomorrow. In your classes you have made us realize that learning can be fun. None of us will ever forget three experiences . . . OUR jokes, YOUR humor, and the fun WE had together. Your influence has been felt by the community as well as the student body. Your recent work with young people on the weekends has encouraged whole- some recreation. Your participation in church activities has been an inspiration to all, In the midst of these activities you have found time to give your family love and attention. How can we thank you? As a token of our appreciation the Seniors of '67 dedicate this, OUR yearbook, to you. TalKaimelaleya Nolin A WORD FROM MR, FABIAN The primary basis for a sound educa- tional program must be in the cooperative ellorts of administration, faculty, students, and community. I like to feel that we have this cooperative spirit in Macon County and that as a result, we have a superior school. 1 would like to thank all groups for the splendid support that they have provided in the past and ask for your continued aid. In this way I feel sure that we will succeed in making Macon County High the type of institution in which we can all take great pride. rr ‘ a etter : Sincerely, Hh Tabii Frank H, Fabian Principal Frank Fabian, Principal Representing Responsible Leadership Macon County Board Of Education Seated, left to right; Charles Oliver; Dr. Lucius Dean, Chairman; B.
