PRINCIPALS A most impressive sight as you approach from the valley below is the awe inspiring Bok Tower, located in the center of the citrus belt in Florida. The traveler promptly recognizes it as a symbol of strength and inspiration. To you Seniors, I remind you that the skills that you have learned and the friend- ships that you have made during the past four years will be employed as Towers of 'strength and inspiration, as you settle down to the business of making a living. I wish each of you a wonderful life as you use them in achieving success and happiness. To The Class of T957: During the last four years you have faced many problems. These problems involved learning complicated theories, mastering difficult techniques, and learning how to get along with other people. Allow me to congratulate each of you personally on the suc- cessful solutions you have made to these problems. lt is my earnest hope that you will solve the similar problems of adult life with equal skill. My very best wishes go with you as you undertake this endeavor. Z45Q5A55sw Your Towers of knowledge, character, skill, and personality should serve to give you a sense of proportion which will be useful throughout your lifetime. Attacking problems with energy and enthusiasm will, in a large measure, determine your success or failure in society. Aim your talents toward success. Remember, extra effort brings extra compensation. By your American heritage you are obligated to give service to your family, your community, your church, and your country. To give of your time, skill, and ability may require sacrifice, but your contribution will be more worthwhile if it is given in the proper spirit. Your preparation here at Macomber in the mental, mechanical, and social skills should supply the foundation for your Towers of future achievement. 451
