M. H. S. WAS ONCE MORE TRANSFORMED into a mini- ature Dogpatch. Love and the pursuit of nuptial bliss reigned as king on the annual observance of Sadie Haw- kins Day on November 19th. Following an afternoon as- sembly where various M. H. S. teachers portrayed char- acters straight from A1 Capp's cartoon column, boys were on their own against 234 spinister girls. The evening was highlighted by the Sadie Hawkins Dance in the old gym with the dance bands of both M. H. S. and Beards- town providing the music. Sadie Hawkins Day was a project of the band. 'TAUWP 62.551 Swan 66444 play THE SENIOR CLASS of 1958 presented the play Seventeenth Summer by Maureen Daly on November 14th and 15th, 1957. The heartaches of growing up plus the wonder of a gir1's first ro- mance was the plot of the play.
