WE PREPARE QQ? NOW REMEMBER . . . EUR T'V SHOW ONE OF THE BIG EVENTS of the year was the T. V. show. Under the direciion of Mr. Kimpton and Mrs. Cummings, the students worked many OUR SCHOOL FLAG OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM hours practicing. Everyone agreed though, that it was Well worth the iime and effort.

FUN AND ENT tl R , I is 673 PENNY CARNIVAL 5.53 ERTAINMENT SINCE THIS WAS TOUR YEAR, the music department had to dream up many brilliant ideas on how to make money. They made money picking up corn, and another money making project was the Penny Carnival. There was everything from weight guessing to a penny-a-vote king and queen contest. The students this year were entertained by many good assemblies. The Wood- stock and Western College Choirs, and the Quincy High School Orchestra, each pre- sented a performance. There were also many groups from within the school that put on assemblies, including the Junior English Class, which put on a program concerning their study of poetry. Macomb was very proud of their basket- ball team this year. They won second in the Midwest Conference: won the County Tournament, but lost to Colchester in the Regional. THGSE HATS ! I ! !
