WASHINGTON COUNTY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT and BOARD OF EDUCATION Without the Board of Education and the School Superintendent, our public schools would have very little chance of existence. We, Americans, proudly boast of our free education. The men elected to these offices must be courageous, dependable, and trustworthy. The highest standards of education, as well as many other school functions, lie in the hands of these few men. The School Superintendent and the Board of Education deal with all problems confronting our schools.
