i nap a Once upon a time, one bright June morning, a youth set out to journey on the Highway of Life . There was a spring in his step and a song in his heart. And as the day wore on the youth began to feel a little tired and his step became less springy and his sing¬ ing became less frequent. Finally in the late afternoon the youth longed for a bit of rest. As he turned a bend in the road, he saw that it forked, and on each fork he saw a beautiful damsel. The youth approached one of them and asked her about the condition of her section. This road, said the first damsel, is rough at first; there are no trees to provide shade, there are no brooks and the song of birds is lacking. How¬ ever, after some distance you will emerge upon a broad highway that winds through lush and beautiful country and it will be very peaceful, satisfying and rewarding to journey on it. Come with me and your rew ' ard at the end of it will be great. To miss nothing, the youth them went to the second damsel and asked her about her road. And she answered: Come with me and your days will be filled with a good time. This road is easy to travel on. Life w ' ill be easy and there will be no adver¬ sity or challenges. So the youth went with her. And indeed he did have a good time so much so that he soon became satiated with unrewarding pleasures and his youthful strength and vitality became depleted. In this state the youth came upon an old man with a flowing beard sitting beside this highway. And he asked the old man, What may your name be and what do you do? ' The old man replied, I am a teacher-the best in the world, and the lessons I teach are never forgotten but I exact a very high fee for the lessons I teach. My name is EXPERIENCE. P.S. To learn anything do you always have to have this old man as a teacher? : 4MM
