Page Twenly-six K ,xy EQUIRED for any course are the subjects which will present the facts necessary to the understanding of the field. We, therefore, see fit to require an acquaintance with the students of Macalester college-seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen. We also present the officers of each class and list the distinctive contributions of each class to the activities of the college. Since Macalester seeks to be a place of culture where intellectual horizons are widened by an emphasis on the humanities, science, and philosophy, We feel that the classroom activities of a student are by far the most important feature of his college education and therefore place our collection of classroom pictures in this, the required section of our illustrated course.
