Starting Monday, tickets will be issued for violations HOMECOMING FESTIVITES BEGIN TODAY WITH SOCCER GAME Four soccer games and two events sponsored by the soccer team highlight this week ' s Homecoming events. The Homecoming week ' s activities start off today with the varsity soccer team taking on the Leathernecks of Western Illinois at 3 p.m. The game will be followed by a slave auction sponsored by the soccer team. The auction will help raise money for this year ' s trip to England. It will be held in the Campus Center at 7 p.m.. The soccer team will again start off the activities tomorrow when the J.V. squad takes on Lincoln College at 3 p.m. The volleyball team will also be involved in the week ' s activities. They will play Blackburn College here at 7 p.m. tomorrow and then they will sponsor the Volleyball Invitational at 10 a.m. Saturd ay, Homecoming Day. The bonfire will officially start the week ' s festivi- ties. The blaze will be started on the lower field at 9 p.m. tomorrow. The formal dance featuring Synod will be held the following night in the dining hall at 9 p.m. Homecoming Day will be highlighted by the annual Homecoming soccer game against Rose-Hulman. Other events to watch for on Saturday are the band concert in the grandstand at 11:30 a.m. Pre-game ceromonies include th« presentation of Alumni Awards to three MacMurray alumni and a J.V. contest against Lincoln Land Community College. Following the game there will be an informal dinner and dance at the A-H building. The soccer team will close out the weekend Sunday with a team flea market at 10 a.m. on the tennis courts.
