Le Cercle Francais, under the direction of Mademoiselle Yeranian, has had a large and active membership this year. The oflicers are Kristine Zethren, president, Linda Sagers, vice-president, Janet Bogardus, secretary, Marianne Pagos, treasurer. Our Christmas Bazaar booth treated all MacDuflie gourmets and gourmands with a diverse array of French delicaciesg it was, as usual, a great success. During the course of the year we have had a one-act playg a small festival of French folk songs, two excellent lectures, one given by Miss Blackwell on education in France, the other by Mr. Houghton on various customs of the Midi, and a concert featur- ing the celebrated MacDuffie String Quartet. Le Cercle Francais has enjoyed a stimulating, informative, and most rewarding K.M.z.

All of our activities have enabled the niernbers of the Science Club to gain a better knowledge and understanding of all that which we find so interesting in science. The club extends its thanks to its adviser, Miss Putnam, for her helpful assistance throughout the year. The officers this year were: Susan Ritchie, presidentg Lindy Lyman, secretary- treasurer.
