We thank you so much. Thanks for the memories, The times that we played ball, The way we used to fall, The way we used to linger in the locker and the halls, We thank you so much. Thanks to Mrs. .lacob's class, The times we had to run, And brother, that's no pun. The homework and the questioning Would always leave us wondering. We thank you so much. Thanks for the memories, The days in the good old gym, To keep our figures trim, Instead we'd come out worn and ragged Looking even more haggard. We thank you so much. Thanks to our parents, Who gave us every dollar, To help us become scholars But then we used to holler, Mal iust another dollar. We thank you so much. Thanks for the memories, The days that were so bright, The times we used to fight, For things we thought were right. We thank you so much. Thanks forthe memories, We'll have of one another, We know we'll miss each other, And some day when we're mothers, We'Il come back to see each other, We thank you so much.

LUO oemrt By JOANNE McKENNA, June '50 DREAMLAND There's a solace in memory land Where all my lost dreams go And some day l'll iourney there To find the dreams I used to know. The past is lost, the present here, The future yet to come, Old dreams are lost, yet there is time: l'll find some newer ones. 28 r. .Simian John Rastetter, whose picture was brought in by Antoinette Lusina, was voted Mr. Senior by the January '50 class. He was born in Astoria in 1929, attended Junior High School 7, and was graduated from Long Island City High School. He is now employed as a printer. Johnny is five feet nine, has light brown hair and green eyes. He enioys sports, and is a member of the Astoria Willows, a football team. He has a Spitz dog and a white Persian cat. He has two fine ambitions - to be a successful printer and to marry a certain lucky girl in our class. MEMORIES Sometimes when l am lonely I sit so sad and blue. My thoughts touch many subiects But linger most on you. l remember how you laugh, Your smile and all the things you do, And every tear here in my eye ls caused by memories of you.
