Chapter I THE PAGES nee upon a new time there were the Pages of 1979, and they were the youngest race who lived upon the Hill in that age of the Land. For the Pages were Students of the first level of knowledge and growth. And in those people was embodied the spirit of new beginnings that all Men had known. In their time were begun ties of friendship that would last for ages and beyond. It is said that they came from the Spring of Life and that their arrival in the World was much like that of the first Men, though the manner of their coming was known only to the Gods. A CLASS OFFICERS Treasurer Annarose Mclillo; Vice- President Sue Thurston; President Maurrccn McGowan; Secretary Jenni Darius The Pages found their new World enchanting, and the Magicians took delight in opening to them many new and wonderful things. Yet an enor- mous task lay before those people in their first age; that of experiencing the four ages of learning, and reaching the common destination of all Stu- dents.
