Senior German students will long remember Mike's knack for substituting his own versions of translations. Well-known at regional social functions, he was often seen with members of the opposite sex as well as his pals. JAMES G. A regular fellow, he always manages to get pleasure out of life. His initiative and will to succeed have made him a leader both academically and socially. .Ierry's talent for journalism was revealed to us when he rose to the editorship of the FLASHES, which enjoyed another banner year. PHILIP MCHAIE Phil Basketball 1-2-3-43 Photo 2-3-43 Chorus lg Minamek 4g Varsity 3-4. One of the taller members of the class, Phil is an outstanding athlete and a scholar. Determined Phil was one who helped the PREPPERS with his rebounding and shooting when all seemed doomed. Quiet mannered and possessing a genial personality, his more coveted possessions include a 1946 Ford and a 35 mm. camera. Always a hard worker, Phil plans to attend MIT. FRANCIS MUSSOLINE 'LMussie Fish Club 33 Motion Picture 2. Characterized by his jolly laugh and affable personality, Mussie re- turned to our class this year after a short tenure in Florida. His '55 Cadillac is his pride and joy, in which he can usually be seen patrolling the streets in his leisure time. Engineering seems to be in the future for Frank, and with his desire to succeed, we can expect great accomplish- ments of him.

His amazing adeptness in gymnastics has been the highlight of our past two gym exhibitions as he kept the crowd on the edge of their seats with his antics on the rings. ML Personality is happiest when driving his hot '52 Chevy. Always ready with a smile and a scintillating crack, this casual senior has spread his fame throughout the region as a dashing Lady Killer andfor baby sitter. Scholastically he has proven his ability in the mastery of lflis sgudies. Anyone is truly fortunate to list this all-around guy as his ren . CARL LYNN Carl Cabinet 1-2-3-4g Baseball 4-3 Fish Club 1-2-33 Modeling 1. When one hears the terms handsome, personality, and friendship he automatically associates them with Carl. Always ready with a smile and a helping hand, -he has won everyone's admiration. Carl, a man about town, seems to have solved the age-old problem of handling women by a suave system of tactics known only to him. Not including Carl as a friend is lacking a dash of spice in life. WILLIAM MATHE K'Wild Bill Baseball 25 Body Building 1-2-3. A warm smile and friendly personality aptly describe the appearance of Wild Bill. His skillful and smooth ability at sinking baskets in noon-hour basketball games, along with his work in the Body Building Club, shows adequately his interest in sports. SENIOR - ANTHONY PITMAN EGTOHYN Basketball 1-2g Baseball 1-2-3-43 Radio 455 Band 1-2. Tony came to M.M.I. as a freshman in 1953. Upon entering he became engaged in many activities ranging from baseball to band. He is known mainly by his shiny black '57 Corvette. Because of a quiet nature, one would believe him to be shy, but he will readily pitch in if there is something new to do. EDWARD RYMSZA, JR. Father Body Building 15 Fish Club 2-3. Ed is the proud possessor of a unique sense of humor and uncanny ability to fit a witty remark into any conceivable situation. Although he is mischievous at times, it is difficult to become angry with him because of his pleasant nature and persistent smile. Father is best known as a close friend of 'LFarley. NICHOLAS SAULLO Big Nick Basketball Manager 2g Fish Club 1-2g Modeling 3. A pleasing personality, a friendly smile, and a talent for- off-the-cuff remarks make diminutive Nick a center of attraction. His tlmelyiobserva- tions and ability in mathematics never failed to amaze us. Seniors will long remember Nick's famous oration on the relative merits of the Fish Club. lf you like fish, or if you don't, join the Tropical Fish Club. Bill is probobly one of the best liked students in our class. This un- doubtedly stems from his wonderful personality and genial nature. Sugar took time out from studying German to lead the PREPPER cagers and baseball team during his four year stay at M.M.I. He can usually be found at Hazleton Canteen, where he carries on his night life.
