He has a reputation as being one of the sharpest dressers of the class. In his spare time his interests include girls and sports. Sip has gone from tropical fish-through the Sid Caesar craze in the Radio-TV Club-to a chartered position in the German Club. We will all remember Ed for his crazy imitations. . ANTHONY R. As president in the junior year, he showed the ability to direct our class. Next year he will enlist in the United State Ranger Corps and then he hopes to enter college to earn a degree in chemistry. ' CHARLES L. COXE Chas,, Body Building 2-35 Modeling 1. Chas has one of the most likable personalities in the class. His sincerity, fine sense of humor, and the warmth of his friendship have endeared hun to all. By being consistent in his studies, he has proven himself reliable. The opposite sex is an integral part of his activities. Chas has both the maturity and the fortitude to conquer whatever life may offer.

His sparkling wit and scintillating remarks have often turned a dry class into a pleasant one. Wit is not Jay's only outstanding charac- teristic. In the four years in which we have been associated, Jay has always shown qualities of 'leadership and intelligence and has been a valuable asset to our class. ROY ARLOTTO Orley Class Officer 2g Basketball 3, Manager 2-3-4-g Band 4g Modeling 2-33 Varsity 2-3-4-g Dramatics 2-3-4. Roy, leader of the Italian Sons in our school, is best known for his sparkling wit and humor. He can always be found at Sophie's eating his favorite-C.M.P.'s. Even though Roy is active in social activities, he still finds time to be a top student. Orley starred in many dramatic productions. Roy never failed to amaze us with his scientific theory and arguments. JOSEPH EMERSON BERGER fiJ'oe,, 1- llshakysi Photo 1-2-3-4-g Minamek 43 Hi-fi 3. An avid shutterbug, Joe is head photographer of the yearbook and pres- ident of the Camera Club. ln his freshman year, he was chosen photog- rapher of the year g a tribute to his keen interest in the hobby. Joe's friendly, ever-present smile and willingness to pitch in will long be re- membered. His diversified interests and scholastic stamina are sure keys to success in his future endeavors. LOUIS J. BLAUM Louie Basketball 1-2-3-4-3 Baseball 2-3-4. An ear to ear smile and cheerful personality characterize Louie and make him a popular fellow both off and on the campus. His '53 Mercury is a familiar sight in Freeland where many of his interests are centered. Louie's fine batting and fielding as third baseman on the PREPPER squad proved him to be athletically inclined.

His amazing adeptness in gymnastics has been the highlight of our past two gym exhibitions as he kept the crowd on the edge of their seats with his antics on the rings. Always ready with a smile and a scintillating crack, this casual senior has spread his fame throughout the region as a dashing Lady Killer andfor baby sitter. Scholastically he has proven his ability in the mastery of lflis sgudies. Anyone is truly fortunate to list this all-around guy as his ren . CARL LYNN Carl Cabinet 1-2-3-4g Baseball 4-3 Fish Club 1-2-33 Modeling 1. When one hears the terms handsome, personality, and friendship he automatically associates them with Carl. Always ready with a smile and a helping hand, -he has won everyone's admiration. Carl, a man about town, seems to have solved the age-old problem of handling women by a suave system of tactics known only to him. Not including Carl as a friend is lacking a dash of spice in life. WILLIAM MATHE K'Wild Bill Baseball 25 Body Building 1-2-3. A warm smile and friendly personality aptly describe the appearance of Wild Bill. His skillful and smooth ability at sinking baskets in noon-hour basketball games, along with his work in the Body Building Club, shows adequately his interest in sports.
