It begins in the sum er and continues into fall. There are two teams, varsity and junior var- sity, with ten players on each team. Since more girls were on the squad than were neededforthe teams, not all got to play, but all were needed. It is an activity which takes time out of their regular schedule, but the resultoftheir training and experience pays dividends in sportsmanship and skill. J.V. W'e're loyal to you M-F-L In March of 1967, the student coun- cil and a few faculty members chose cheerleaders for the 1967 and 1968 school year. when school began the following fall, regular practice sessions took place twice a week with extra prac- tice after school in order to be ready for the first game of the sea- son.
