They worked extra hard this year! As a result, all our activities were im- proved. They included the 'Welccme Freshmen dance, Dad's night, homecoming, Christmas party, pa.rent's night, and skits for pep rallies.

Lunches are centers of the charge for each grades 1+-12 and K-3. FARMERSBURG COOKS! , Vergean and Carl Schmidt. 1 The cooks prepared a total of 137,571 lunches during the past year. Monona served 83,9Ll6, Famersburg served 13,836, and Luana served 39,789. Job MONONA COOFS: Darlene DeSotel, Shirley Jacobson, Ruby Stade, and Helen Dickman. The government gave the school four cents per meal along with some smwplus foods, such as meat, butter, cheese, and flour. CUSTODIANS: V 11 Bird fs Row 1: George Balekos Jr., e a - LUANA COOKS, gm'S':g:IgtBol1man' Row 2: Carl Beall' Ruth Starkey, Margaret Hangartner, Gladys Beall. Care of our school and grounds is entrusted to these people. Carl Beall is the custodian at Luana, Carl Schmidt is the custodian at Fannersburg, and the remaining three are at Monona. Avery Bollman, who has been at M-F-L eight years, will leave this coming year to accept a position at the Wartbm-g College in Waverlv.
