One brigxt September morning in 1940, seventeen eager boys and girls started on the first part of their adventure in education Those who entered the first grade were Dean Aulerich, Walter Bruehahn Donald Daugs, Joanne Cams, Carole Gilbert, Jackie Grove Donna Jean Groth, Dean Eazlett Gwendolyn Holly, Mary Kettelkamp, Carol Pape Bill Peters, Kenneth Peters, J oA.n.ns Smith, Darlene Topel, Marla Vhitcomb, and Darwin Ziegler. In the second year we lost Donna Jean Groth and added seven new members. Roger Appel Gary Bartick, Pat Huckstadt, Janes Krambeor, Wanda Peterson, Nancy Riedesel, and Willard Schlitter The next year Joanita and Joanne Blumhagen Joined the class, but Gary Bartlok, Gwendolyn Holly, Pat Huckstadt, Kenneth Peters, Willard Schlitter and Darlene Topel dropped out Dean Aulerlch, Donald Daugs, Joanne Garms and Marla Uhitcomb didn't enter the fourth grade with us Three boys were added to the class, Curtis Ames Curtis Bethel and Robert Sswvell In the fifth grade Bob Schmidt joined the class, but Curtis Ames and Robert Sawvell drop pod out The next year Bob Schmidt dropped out and seven new members were again added to the class Bob Allert, Joanne Jax-me David Jordahl Beverly Kenneth, Keith Moon, Yernice Moon and lhgene levernnnn Dorothy Cooper, llvie Gilster and Anna Mae Harovets entered the class in the seventh grade Beverly Kenneth, James Krambeer and Keith Moon dropped out The eighth year we lost Anna Mae llarovets, but Susann Dull, Ramon Bass, Stanley Meyer, Duane Sawvell and Billie Tapper Joined the class, asking a total of twenty-seven who grad uated from the eighth grade Ve started our high school career with fifty three in the freshmn class The entire eighth grade class with the exception of Roger Appel, David Jordahl, and Vernlce Moon, entered high school In addition to these Nancy Coobs, Robert Dans, Carol Doeppke, Roger Drahn, Henkes, Louis Holly, Pat Huokstadt, lugene Keppler, Roger Larson, Darlene Levenhagen, Joe Munz Barbara leedham, Donald Petit, Margaret Rogers, Donald Rossbaoh, Otto Rossbach Jr Larry Ryan, Larry Schissel, Beverly Schlitter, Bob Schmidt, Norma Schoulte, Rita Troester, Harold Vogt and Donald Winters, registered as freshnn Dorothy Cooper, Robert Dams, Donald Petit, Duane Sawvell and Donald Winters d1dn't Join us our Sophomore year, but Ed Howe, Jerry Waalk and Beatrice Weldeman were added to the class During our Junior year we lost Susann Dull, Jackie Grove, Wanda Peterson, Margaret Rogers, Beverly Schlitter and Jerry Uealk Marilyn Fishel was added to the class This year, our Senior year, the entire Junior class, with the exception of Darwin Ziegler, finished their h school care and are eady the future I -4 6 O ' 9 O .
