The two other members of the board, not in this picture, are Mr. Vaughan and Mr. Hall A GREETING AND A CHALLENGE To 1934, hail! and, let us not say, farewell, for we hope to greet you in the old pleasant places many times. You have the distinction of being thus far the largest class to graduate from L. T. H. S. and I am sure that quality, in this case, accompanies size. Your alma mater is proud of you-for in civic and social consciousness, in scholarship, and in athletic prowess you have been especially distin- guished. You are coming to be part of a society which demands more than your devotion to a chosen career or vocation-a society which needs leaders in the best uses of leisure time. My wish for you is that you may be wise in your use of the gay, the earnest, the stirring, the calm, the casual, and the planned hours of your leisure time.
