We areproud to present the 1957 students chosen call Scar fyono Judy Newell was one of the hardest working girls in her class. She was kept busy at all times and was given the honor of senior class president, pep club president and FHA president. Her scholastic record was one to be admired and her dependable and friendly personality was liked by both her friends and teachers marking her Au For Lyons. Saylor Smith was another outstanding student at Lyons. He was quarterback on the football team and the play maker on the championship basketball team. Saylor was president of his junior class and was elected to Boys State. Joyce also ranked among the top of her class scholastically. Ns art editor her contributions to the HOAH will be remembered. We will all remember our 1956 llomecoming Queen as being a girl who was always All For Lyons. Lee ,-Xppleby's interest definitely lies in the field of sports. He was a member of the first string basketball and football teams and also par- ticipated in track. ,-Xfter participating in athletics for three years he received all state football hon- ors during his last two years at LHS.
