Qfwtofzq We were just start1ng out 1n show bus1ness 1n 1950 Our producer was Mr K1ng and the cast cons1sted of Bob Barber Wendall Barden Clara Belle Clark Max1ne Conrad Jamce Damman Gerald Derby Ga1l Dr1skell Joe E1cher D1ck Gallup R1chard Gleason Dale Gould Daryl H1ldreth Barbara Lamb Dave Lawrence Sh1r1ey Lemke George L1ndsay Charles Mmka Dan Peebles Duane R1es V1ctor R1ce Obduha Serna Byron Shuman Joyce Sk1nner Thomas Spltler Rosle Vanderdonck Myrna Yost The lead1ng actresses were Jan1ce Damman and Ga1l Drlskell The next year when talkmg mov1es came out we s1gned a contract w1th our new producer Mr Westover Two fellow actors Duane R165 and Bob Barberleft us for another com pany George Llndsay and Charhe M1ka had dec1ded to follow the new era of talk1ng mov1es Ga1l Dr1skell and Jan1ce Damman were st1ll the lead1ng actresses and were becomlng very good 1n the1r parts The follow1ng year we were 1ntroduced to rad1o e found three of our cast had left us They were Wendall Barden Joyce Sk1nner and Dale Gould but 1n the1r places a r1s1ng new star Jean Cook came to us Our dlrector was Charles M1ka w1th Jamce Damman as h1s ass1stant The rad1o awards were g1ven to Ga1l Drlskell and Ros1e Vander donck that year Our producer was Mr Hershberger By th1s t1me T V was becom1ng very popular so we de clded to form a T V Varlety Show We declded Mr Hersh berger was the best producer to handle our show Tom Sp1tler and Dave Lawrence left us to cont1nue the1r rad1o stardom Our lead1ng lady Ga1l Dr1skel1 an oldtuner mn show bus1ness was be1ng challenged by the comeback of Jan1ce Damman as a T V star At the end of the year wxth a few gone and a few new ones our cast cons1sted of Clara Belle Clark Lyle Cleghorn Max1ne Conrad Larry Cox Jean Cook Jan1ce Damman Gerald Derby Ga11Dr1skel1 Joe E1cher D1ck Gallup R1chard Gleason Daryl H1ldreth Barbara Lamb Sh1r1ey Lemke George L1ndsay Charles M1ka Dan Peebles Vlctor R1ce Obdul1a Serna Byron Shu man Ros1e Vanderdonck and Myrna Yost 19 0 .
