Jon Hansel, while serving with the Marines near Nago on Okinawa, was instantly killed when the vehicle in which he was riding missed a curve and over- turned.. A Marine escort accompanied the body of Cpl. Han- sel from the Far Pacific base to New York, a distance of near- ly 10,000 miles. He was buried with full military honors on September 10. Since Ion was a graduate of our school and an ex-athlete, we dedicate this page of our yearbook to him.

For seventeen years Mr. Brust had faithfully helped us through our difficult times. Although he is not here to assist us personally, his wise advice will continue with us through our remaining years. As a token of our appreciation, we would like to dedicate this page of our yearbook to a man who was dearly loved by all.
