CLASS HIS TORY We the class of 1960 look back on four momentous years of high school, accented with many highlights. We were off to a rolling start in our freshman year with Louise Renzi as class president and Mr. Rees as our adviser, Some profitable bake sales were sponsored by the class. We also launched a successful pencil sale. J oe Fowler headed our class in our sophomore year under the guidance of Mr. Buell, The 'Soph Hop' proved to be fun--but not too profitable! During our junior year, with Jim Arseneau as president and Mr. Rees again as our adviser, we began to realize how important the time element was in our money-making projects. We suc- ceeded in selling S1600 worth of stationery. This sale gave quite a boost to our budget. We had charge of a pencil machine, operated a hot dog stand at football games, and assumed responsibility for the milk break and the milk bar in May. As Juniors we anxiously awaited that day when we would receive our class rings and really feel like upper classmen. What excitement when it arrived! We loved them so much that we used the crest on this, our yearbook. The highlight of our junior year was our Junior Prom, Hawaiian Holiday. We were said to have had the most original and most attractive decorations in years. Of this, we were very proud! As our all too final senior year whizzed by with Louise Renzi as president and Miss Tierney and Mr. Marshall as our advisers, we could hardly believe that the time would soon be drawing near for yearbook deadlines, the last day of milk bar, the senior trip, and that day of good-byes--com- mencement, Our activities included a magazine drive, the class just missing its goal of S6000 by a narrow margin. We also sponsored bake sales and had charge of the 10:10 milk break, the milk bar, and the sale of candy and pop at basketball games, Our December senior ball, Frosty Glo , was a tremendous success. Looking at our high school years in retrospect, we are saddened to think that they will soon end, but we are inspired with the great opportunities that lie ahead,
