On September 5 1949 a brrllrant eager lookmg group of young students entered thelr Freshman year of hlgh school Thls class was destlned to do great things before they left school ln 1953 In the Freshman year these scholars went to 1 movxe ln Rochester called Henry VIH On the way home the1r bus broke down but never the less sp1r1ts were hlgh In 1950 the Sophomore year these puplls gave a sophlstlcated affalr known as the Sophomore Foot Ball After th1s success ln the .Tun1or year these gemuses gave two more dances Frosty Frohc and the annual Iuruor Prom The Junlor year was a blg one wxth the sale of plne cones and candy and the chooslng of our class rlngs After three hard years on September Z 1952 these puplls were SENIORS Durlng the Senlor year they Sold cards and candy kept the cafeterla open durlng the games and held a bake sale I know what you re thlnklng but these achlevements are noth1ng out of the ordmnary No they aren t but thls ClaSS Of 53 IS the flrst class 1n the hlstory of L C S to have a yearbook for whlch the class of 53 w1l1 be long remembered after lts members have parted Wlth the slnglng of the Alma Mater and the playlng of Pomp and Clrcumstance the class of 53 prepares confldently to face new horizons ea 6 6- 561 wif 'V I 7 J 1 ' 66 II ' a y - - J 4 7 !
