Manager, Larry Hyde. 444 In beginning the baseball season the first job was to reclaim the baseball diamond from a year's growth of grass and weeds. This was accomplished through the effort of the team and various community members. After one full day's work the diamond was ready for action, The season saw the Lions in action six times. Although the season was completed without a victory there was much experience gained by an otherwise untried team, The new uniforms added color as well as enthusiasm to the game.
