SENIOR CLASS HISTORY FRESHMEN YEAR Our Semor Class began hrgh school wrth seventeen members We elected John Mercer as Presrdent Tommy Bedwell as VICC Pres1dent Joyce Srrosnrder as Secretary and Don Jones as Treasurer Also the class selected a Carnauon as the class flower and Blue and Gold as the class colors The class held two bake sales and had two stands at the Halloween Carnrval to earn money for a mp to Lawrencevrlle and Vlncennes at the end of the year SOPHOMORE YEAR WE CAM: ' WHS 9 I 4' QNQU VJ At the begrnnrng of the Sophomore year flfteen members enrolled 1n our class Tommy Bedwell was elected as Presxdent Barbara Wrrght as V1ce Presrdent Pat Hlggrus as Secretary and John Mercer as Treasurer The class earned money by sponsorrng a Hayrlde and stands at the Halloween Carnrval The class enjoyed a Chrrstmas Party at Llnda Brown s home and a trlp to Sprrngmrll at the end of the year JUNIOR YEAR At the begrnnrng of the Junlor year the class elected Patty Heshelman as Presldent Marylrn Braun as VICE Presxdent eleven members The class sponsored a magazlne drrve two stands at the Halloween Carnrval and sold popcorn at home ballgames to earn money The class enjoyed a Chrrstmas Party at Patty Heshelman s home and also plannmg and presentmg a Jumor Semor Receptron at Sprlngmrll Inn on May 1956 SENIOR YEAR The Semor year we came back Wlth nrne members and :REV elected Gale Brownrng as Presrdent Lrnda Brown as Vrce Presrdent Marylrn Braun as Secretary and Tommy Bedwell as Treasurer The class rarsed money by sponsorrng the Halloween Carmval and publrshlng a school paper The Lrons Roar and by selllng refreshments at home ballgames The class elected Tommy Bedwell Annual Edrtor Also the Semor Class IS lookrng forward to the Jumor Semor Receptlon on May 3 1957 'D 'D -1 lr 1 I ' .
