The Lyons track team had a very successful season last year for their third year of participation in track. They placed third in the Greene County Track Meet being beat by Linton and Bloomfield. They won triangular meets between Worthington, Solsberry, Lyons, Sandborn, Freelandville, Lyons. They won a dual meet with Gill Township. Phil Mercer and Hugh Enicks hold records in the county meet. We lost Phil Nbrcer, Jim Duffey, and Hugh Enicks from last year's team, but we have some very good prospects to take their place. Probable Schedule For l955-l956 Nov.
