This is the sixth annual edition of the Lynwood High School Accolade. The year 1956-1957 marks our sev- enth year as a high school and the class of 1957 is our sixth graduating class. During the time you have been in attendance, you have shared many ac- tivities which I believe will cause you to be effective citizens in American Society. Your citizenship, interest in the school and interest in the com- munity, are attested to by the fact that the High School has been honored with Principal Freedoms Foundation Awards in all four years of your at- tendance, and for the past two years, has received in addition, a scroll in- dicating the highest possible award from Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. Scholastically, you have been given opportunities through a broad program of studies to prepare yourselves for future education, for employment, and, I trust, for success in life. As the time for graduation comes, the High School will miss and remem- ber this fine group. I know that I not only speak for myself, but for the en- tire staff of the high school, when I extend best wishes to the Class of 1957. RALPH H. COSMAN Principal
