Qfagazgw, In 1939 Mrs, Geneva Alcorn joined the faculty of Lynwood Academy. Through her efficient teaching and untiring efforts she has helped make our home economics depart- ment outstanding both in equipment and in courses offered, The girls in her classes have lasting appreciation for her skillful instruction in the home arts and for her friendly and understanding counsel concerning their personal problems, Her sphere of influence is by no means limited to those in her department, By her able sponsorship of extra-curricular activities she has endeared herself to the 'entire student body. The senior classes which she has sponsored will always be grateful for her help with their activities, Her enthusiasm and inspiration have contributed greatly to the success of the programs and functions of the Associated Student Body.
