Left to Right: Faith Asbery. Michelle Loomis, Melinda Pollatz, Carolee Calapp, Tammy Lien. Basketball, football, swimming, no person at LHS is involved with every sport, no athlete that is. Often, we overlook the one group of people who are involved with all the sports, the LHS Cheer Squad, Il is almost as grueling a task to be a cheerleader, as it is to participate in the sport itself. Cheerleading involves not just public performance, but many hours of behind the scene preparation.

Mens Swimming 5 f wa The Royal Swim team took it one stroke at a time, improving throughout the season until they be- came a serious threat to visiting teams, The team's success was due to a large turnout of enthusias- A tic men. Although this was a building year for our swimmers, leadership was provided by Byron Marshall who set school records in the 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, and 100 butterfly.
