When an advertiser takes out an ad in a yearbook, he does so fully knowing that it is probably a poor media through which to advertise considering his ad will in all likelihood be written upon and unconsciously ignored. This has not been true of the Laureate Staff, but only because we had the privilege of first hand contact and dealing with these fine business people and patrons. They made our yearbook a reality. And if it helps at all, we want them to know that there will come a moment, perhaps this summer or sooner, when all the messages will have been read and re-read and with nothing to do, the ad- vertising section will finally receive the notice of which it is so deserving. It is the sincere hope of this advisor that when this time occurs that each of you will take notice of those people in your business community who cared and in turn will return the support.
