Since that first morning twelve years ago, when Momma took our reluctant little hands in hers, and headed for the nearest elementary school for enrollment purposes, we have heard it over and over, that the senior year would the best of all - and it is! We have carried out tradition, and then some, we suspect. As of this moment we honestly believe that we shall never forget things like our assembly program, senior privileges, football season, parties, the banquet and prom, the Washington trip, graduation, and the all night party. There are a million other memories, too. We won't, but it's part of the wonder-world of being a senior to think we shall. few moments of relaxation at the close of a hectic day. Chemical fibers form the textiles that clothe him. The power that propels him on land, on sea, in the air-and ultimately through space-comes from fuels pro- duced by chemical processing operations. The colors that brighten his world. . .the synthetic rubbers that tread his vehicles Y' 1 1 ...the drugs that extend his life expect- ancy...the versatile plastics that do so many jobs so well...these, too, are all products contributed by the pioneering chemical industry. In the years to come, Eastman research and Eastman production ability will con- tinue to help make our Earth even more of a chemical world.
