A man who shaped the future. And made it ours. A man who took life's challenge And returned it. A man who took pleasure in big things, But did not ignore the small. A man who was worthy of life. IR£1 D F M A I C N U I L S T T Y R A A N T D I To the Class of 1972: Although you have finished four years of college life, I hope that you will not consider your degree a “terminal degree. The world you are entering is truly a free university, without classrooms and teachers: may you continue to study and learn with minds open to challenge and unclouded by prejudice Sincere congratulations and good wishes. 18 «Henry Dux Dean of Students 19 ?0 21 22 23 27 28 :9 31 Zrn2c 5Go rn: JiTiUZC ARNOLD c R E V E C O E U R B A Y L E Y WHEELOCK ROGERS POLAND 39 40 } Cu O H c 3 BASEBALL TEAM SOCCER 46 I thought this was supposed to be a w ait ' rr cDHm c ro Now what? The life of a soul on earth lasts beyond his departure. You will always feel that life touching yours, that voice speaking to you, that spirit looking out of other eyes, talking to you in that familiar things he touched, worked with, loved as familiar friends. He lives on in your life and in the lives of all things that knew him. Angelo Patri co 0 o 2 m co 97 THE LONG AWAITED MOMENT FINALLY ARRIVES. Graduating Seniors Speak Tom Thetford We have many people to thank, we haven’t been numbers here. We’ve been able to make friends, and more importanti) to make judgments and with judg- ments come conflicts and with conflicts come victories. John Sullivan We all know of the discrepancies within our society, and within our world. 1 hope that we can bridge these differences through an understanding and respect for the other person. We arc not always right, nor are they always wrong. We must find truth to agree upon. We must communicate with our hearts as well as with our lips. Then we will have the peace on earth and good-will to- wards men that someone mentioned a long time ago. Sara Jo Waggoner Many years and a few ‘career changes' later, here I am a finished product by many peoples standards. Maybe when I started college 1 felt I had four years ahead of me and then I would be grown and educated to my own fulfillment and read) to go out and conquer the world, but now I know my four years at Lyndon has only opened up new avenues of explorations. 99 THE CLASS OF Whatever happens, Happens for the best Man is obviously made to think.
