Dr. Robert E. Long, President For all that has been ii —Thanks! To all that shall be -Yes! Dag Hammarskjold wrote these words at the onset of 1953, the year in which he was to be named Secretary General of the United Nations. They not only provide an insight to the character of the man, but an inspiration to the innate character of all men. You members of the class of 1965, with whom I have happily worked for four years, could well take this to heart. I for one, am thankful for the association with you. And with you I face your futures with a resounding affirma- tion of confidence, hoping that each of you will hear that call, without which your professional lives will be less than complete, and that each of you will go forward in the assurance that society has need for your service.
