Dr. Robert 8. Cong, President To the graduates of 1964 Lyndon has sought to give, in the short space of four years, both a good education and a beginning competence in one of the most demanding of professions. How well we have succeeded in this huge task you will find out in the years ahead. As you look back upon your experience here and find it good, be sure to take much of the credit yourselves; if you find that the experience has fallen short of the ideal, pray assume part of the blame. For education, as you have been told and will soon see for yourselves, is a two-way street. Certainly, at our end of the street, we have benefited from having you with us (even though some of us may be a Tittle grayer for the association). We may have made things a little rough for you. This is inevitable in a changing, growing institution. But we are proud of the results we see as we turn you loose. Our affectionate good wishes go with you and we hope for you all success and the desire to return from time to time to visit the College that has nurtured you.
