Women’s Dorm Council Juana Schoff, President The Women’s Dorm Union is an organization of all the women residents on campus. The Dorm Council, which enforces the rules established by the Dorm, consists of the officers with class represen- tatives. Monthly meetings are held to contend with arising problems and business. During the year the Dorm helps with the Christmas Party and Christmas decorations at Vail Campus. One of the highlights is the cabaret featuring the talent of the Dorm residents. The Dorm also sponsors birthday dances for all the students.

Lyn News The Lyn News is the student organization charged with the re- sponsibility of reporting, informing, and recording through the medium of newsprint, the events and happenings on the LTC campus. The main purpose of The Lyn News is to present reliable information and pertinent articles for the reading enjoyment of those directly concerned with LTC. Its importance in the field of public relations is apparent when it is known that on its mailing list are all Vermont high schools, state newspapers and many colleges throughout the east. To further the advancement of student journalism. The Lyn News sponsors the annual scholastic press conference for high schools and colleges throughout the state. Active members of The Lyn News have the opportunity to improve their writing skill, and to participate in the composition of a student newspaper, a primary asset to any college campus. R. Leno, E. Hazard, R. Downs, I). Bouton Men’s Dorm Union David Bouton, President The MDU is a self-governing organization with an executive com- mittee, student council, and a student court. During the course of the year’s activities, the Men’s Dormitory Union sponsors a semi-formal dinner dance, held at Burklyn Hall. The total membership of the MDU numbers some seventy-five men, with a president, vice-president, secretary, and a treasurer. It has one representative to the student Government.
