Dean- J. D. MESSICK You seniors are a great group. In the short time I have known you, I have come to ap- preciate your varied abilities, high aspirations, splendid personalities, and civic outlook. The foundation you have been laying provides a basis upon which you can build a super-structure of achievement which will come only as you exert tremendous effort to accomplish any worthwhile task in a satisfactory manner. Success does not come easily, and don’t expect your upward climb to be without handicap, hard- ship, and disappointment. Blue steel is not pro- duced without white heat, and this you must recognize in giving of your best. May God’s richest blessing attend your every effort in attaining the zenith of your potentiality.
