Well here we are SOPHOMORES, and proud as can beg We survived it as Freshmen, and so far you see. Of course when we started, we carried the thouht, The Teachers knew nothing, and we knew a lot. Yet it's very surprising, as the year took a turn, How little we knew, and how much we could learn. And as each week goes by, it leaves its reward, It adds to the goal we are all aiming toward. But we'l1 never forget, as the years pass us by, Our SOPHOMORE year, at dear old L. I. Phil Davis L. I. L. I. is our Alma Mater true, Which we may not realize until we are through. Something we will cherish till the end, To us many memories it will send. Memories of trials and tribulations, Memories of how we enjoyed our vacations. Although sometimes we lose Its sportsmanship we chose, Not cheating to make sure of victory Or playing unfair just to make history. However, we're still happy Even when we don't win fame.
