FRESHMAN POEMS WHEN I'M A SENIOR Although I'm but a Freshman And really kinda' small Soon I'll be a Sophomore Then I'LL be on the ball! lt surely wasn't my fault When I lost my way around But it sure did make me melt When that great big JUNIOR frowned! But when I am a Senior I'll REALLY show em' then I'll swagger proudly down the hall Among the BEST of men! by Margaret Wishart THE FIRST YEAR Funny, foolish Freshmen Running here and there, Eating lunches by the tree, Sitting, standing, everywhere, Helping all the upperclassmen-- Making out the best they can, Asking questions by the dozen-- Nothing, nothing fazes them! by Sara Shattuck FRESHMAN F - is for fear, our first day at L. I. R - is for ready, to give it a try. E - is for effort, to make our class strong. S - is the staff, who has helped us along.
