H. S. In our first class meeting we elect- ed the following officers: President, Glenn Bauck, Vice-President, Shirley Bell, Sec- retary, Marilyn Leeper, and Treasurer, Miriam Blackburn. Miss Pretz was our class sponsor. During the year, we lost Bob Boyle and Maxine Douglas. Maxine re our class in the Homecoming festivities. We had two parties during the year, the Homecoming dance and a hayrack ride. In the fall of '49, we were back again, this time with the addition of Carol Phelon, .Teanne Sassman, Charles White, and Doris Husted. At our first meeting as sophomores, we chose Bruce Hotchkiss as President, Marilyn Leeper as Vice-President, Theda- retha Retschlag as Secretary, and Jerry Silver as Treasurer. Mr. Colle was our sponsor. .Teanne Sas srnan and Charles White left us and Mary Ann Bradshaw joined us later on. We sponsored a chili supper and party at Christmas. When the doors opened in the fall of l95O, we were ready for a busy year as juniors. At our first meeting the following were elect- edas officers: President, .Terry Silver, Vice- President, LeRoy Crocker, Secretary, Velma Duff, and Treasurer, Viola Mickel- son. Our sponsors were Mrs. Carley and Mr. Mills. Shirley Secrest and Rita Phelon left us, and Beryl Bell and David Turner came. Our class was well represented in dramatics, music, and athletics. We pre- sented Hobgoblin House as our junior play. Velma Duff was Homecoming attend- ant. 13
