Dedication 3 Mrs. Hoppe The 1980-81 annual is dedicated to Mrs. Viola Hoppe. Mrs. Hoppe was in charge when the first meal was served in the lunchroom in 1945, and she was still there this year, some 6,120 plus meals for over 200 people each meal. Mrs. Hoppe has spent 36 years as lunchroom supervisor. She has handled this job expertly-making decisions and spending hours planning, cooking and cleaning. The work that she has done for the students of johnson City has been more than just a job. It has been a willing service and sacrifice by Mrs. Hoppe to see that each child who passed through the lunch line received a well balanced and nutritional meal. She has taken pride in her accomplishments, and her dedication to the students of LBJ is appreciated. Thank you, Mrs. Hoppe, for a job well done.
